Purpose

This addendum aims to formally address the considerations of climate change within the Quality Management System (QMS) of Ultrasil LLC. Although our current production processes do not directly impact or relate to climate change, we acknowledge the importance of being proactive in our approach to environmental sustainability.

Scope

This addendum applies to all business operations and production processes at Ultrasil LLC, located at 3527 Breakwater, Hayward, California 94545, United States.

Current Assessment

As of October 31, 2024, a thorough assessment of our business activities indicates that our production processes do not significantly contribute to climate change. However, we recognize the importance of remaining vigilant regarding potential future impacts.

Ongoing Monitoring

Ultrasil LLC commits to regularly reviewing our operations to identify any future impacts of climate change. This review will occur annually, with the responsibility assigned to all established departments and approved by the Management Team.

Awareness and Training

To foster a culture of sustainability, Ultrasil LLC will implement employee training and awareness programs related to climate change and environmental best practices.

Future Improvements

We are dedicated to exploring opportunities for reducing our environmental impact as part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability. Future goals may include energy efficiency measures, waste reduction strategies, and sourcing materials from environmentally responsible suppliers.

Stakeholder Engagement

Ultrasil LLC will engage with relevant stakeholders—including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies—regarding climate change and sustainability practices. This engagement will involve sharing our commitment and any future improvements we implement.

Documentation and Records

All findings from our climate change assessments and employee training will be documented and maintained as part of our QMS records. This documentation will ensure transparency and accountability in our efforts.

Review and Revision Process

This addendum will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary based on changes in operations, regulations, or industry standards. The Management Department will be responsible for overseeing this process.

Approval

This addendum is effective as of October 31, 2024 and will remain in force until further notice.
